k2 just completely stopped working

k2 just completely stopped working was created by mindless1

I was adding tags in the administrator section of k2, then all of a sudden it just stopped working from the front end.

You can see the error at www.magentoweb.com

I have no idea why it just stopped working. You can see the error when you click on magento sites directory and then the arts category or the books category.

As soon as i add articles to the category the category wont show up and gives error 404?

Hope you can help.

it does not show at all and comes up with error 404??

What SEF are you using as the URL does not seem to be correct.

Not using any sef, i an using core joomla sef in global config.

What happens if you pot that item to another category, does it appear?
Need to find if there is an issue with the category or the items.

It happens when i put any article within a sub category of that main category. I just added a new article to the sub category "clothing, shows & jewelry" now that category gets a 404 error and wont show up.

So to sum it up if i add an article to any of those subcategories it will show up as 404 error. but if here is no artciles in there it shows up fine.

I had the same thing happen out of the blue. Suddenly, after editing an item, clicking any other item in the same category would crash php / webserver would lock up.

I ended up creating a new category, and moving all the items into it.. Lost tons of hours debugging it. I have a feeling it is a core bug in K2 that cause it.

With the 1000s of users and only this thread of users reporting it, it seems unlikley to be a bug.OF course we need to check to see if there is a compatability issue with another extension.

Has any new extensions been added since last time it worked.Do you have any extensions that have auto updates that could have updated.

@Luis, I checked you link and it loads.

@mindfull, yours is still showing 404 error, is that link still active ?

It is not a bug.

I have my website at a subfolder.. I have to change config.php and .htaccess and now is functionable.
