I have set up some categories with subcategories. I setup a k2 tool module to display the category menu list with the setting of rendering only 1 level deep since I do not want all the subcategories displaying in the menu. What I would like is the article count in the subcategories to be rolled into the Master category display. What is happening is that only articles assigned to the master category are counted.

For example I have the following master->child categories:
Sports
->Fishing
->Swimming
->Biking
Hobbies
->Reading
->Collecting Coins
->Chess

Suppose I have 3 articles in fishing, 2 articles in swimming, 1 article in biking and 3 articles in chess. I would like to see the following count in parenthesis in my category menu:

Sports(6)
Hobbies(3)

Anyone know how to get this to work?
