K2 with 3rd party ACL Component? was created by kraym
I am interested in using K2 for content on my site, but I am currently using The Art of Joomla's (AKA Andrew Eddie) ACL component to control who can post what and where on the site.

Am I still able to use K2 for everything else, or am I going to run into problems?

Hi.. " Kray Mitchell"..
I didn't test that.. But,
If you can take the URLs of your sections/categories/items/component...etc.. and use them, then Yes you can.
Try it.

I'm not sure I follow exactly what you mean byIf you can take the URLs of your sections/categories/items/component...etc.. and use them

I use SEF Advance to turn my URLs SEF friendly.(???)

Specifically what I am looking to use from K2 is the Social bookmarking/Retweeting and the Commenting system.
The additional fields are not really much use to me.

So Simon, is the answer to the question, YES you can use ArtOfUser, or No, it is not possible? Please explain, and thank you.
