Frontend editing with joomfish installed was created by dirk80
Hi
As there are already many people looking for enabled frontend editing with joomfish installed PLEASE let us know if this will be added later on!!!
See the following discussions in this forum:
Update the newest and I was surprised
Category view | Joomfish translation
Enable frontend editing
K2 user group restrictions working in back-end
how can User submit article on k2
Front-end with Joom!Fish
Frontend inline editing
A comment from the developers would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Dirk

May be you can provide this to the developer so they might include in to the next version.
Marco said:Yesterday after a long wait without response I created a hack to have frontend translation working. Basically I changed the item controller to include 2 different model files:
a) if the selected language is the default language I include the item model
b) it the selected language is another language I include a newly created item_joomfish model.
The item_joomfish model file include portion of code of joomfish and portion of code of item model.
Using this approach you can use the same form for translation and main language and you can also add gallery, attachments, etc. in all the forms.
If somebody is interested I can attach the files.
