Entire new articles are lost when toggling the sidebar the pop-up window refreshes and all data is lost.

From front-end:
Add new item
Create article including tags and title
Click "Toggle Sidebar"
Screen refreshes and all is lost
Sidebar/Details section appears for a second, then disappears

After you have lost your entire article, you can toggle back and forth and there is no further loss of data (cold comfort, I assure you).

Adding content from the back end seems to work fine.

Update: on my fresh install I can not reproduce this error. On the fresh install the sidebar is already visible, but on the upgrade, the sidebar is hidden.

This issue seems to be present in 2.4.1
When an article is added and the toggle sidebar pressed, the frame refreshes and the article is lost.

I have seen the earlier solution but this would mean replacing the 2.4.1 file with a file written for 2.2

Is it possible to bring the fix in to k2 core so that the bug is fixed for all?

It is surprising that this bug is still present. It was reported almost a year ago.
