Even though the install appeared to be clean, upon trying to enter data, I get an SQL message. Any ideas?

Can you please provide some info about your server? What version of MySQL are you using? Are you able to add any items or categories? Are there any K2 tables on your database?

Tried something else which did work. I installed on another unrelated site, exported the table SQL script and then used the script on the other site. I had to revise the script and a few table parameters but it seems to be working now. The only strange thing is that it doesn't seem to recognize that I have the Simple Image Gallery installed.
