I've been searching the forum. Has anyone figured out how to edit the front end submission form to just present fields we choose to the user?

 

 I would love to be able to edit it, or use form2content to submit articles straight to k2.

i am assuming by fields you are not referring to extra fields, b/c for those you wouldn't need any such editing
as far as the other fields have a look at the item view at components/com_k2/view/item/tmpl/form.php

but be cautious as to what u pull out as it might yield you with some messed up results
