The module was placed mod_k2_tools search box functionality does not perform the search but Why?

I can confirm this on my site too. It will just bring you to the result page with no results and from there you can do actual search by typing keywords again - weird. However it is not priority for me yet...

Which version of K2 are you using?
Goto your admin and check out your plugins. Search for "search" which will list all search related plugins.
Check to see if K2 is enabled.

I have set up a test just now using the K2_mod_tools set to search.
Please use this link which contains the search plugin.
Please check, using any key workd such as joomla, k2, theme etc.

This should show it working.
I can only conclude something is not set correctly.

can you help me to search in k2 search box to find user?.. if i search "billy" it will be shown what k2 items that Billy has written.. thank you so much anoyone can help?.. btw k2 is very good plugin like this..:!!..:)
