I am also looking for the same. I also want that how to add twitter on main category item list ?

I couldn't write the code here so I put what I did in a text file.

basically it's google.com/reader/link?url=theurl&title=thetitle

You can just copy one of the existing social links in the item.php file.
Then you update the k2.css file and language file the same way and upload the icon.

I'm also uploading the icon I used in case. I got it from: www.chethstudios.net/2010/02/google-buzz-social-icons-for-bloggers.html

Worked like a charm.

There is an buzz icon pack with a box-like one that better matches the other defaults.

I just need facebook and 2 or 3 more links... at my webpage all links are being displayed.
