Checked the page and voted on poll. It rendered the blank page of an invalid token error.

Thanks Fidel. It's done that before. I may have to find a different poll component - weird though, this one is Joomla core so I wouldn't expect problems. I wonder if it's conflicting with something.

Possibly. It's strange. Joomla core components usually work very well, often times without all the bells and whistles. You may want to check your version. Check the links.

As I recall, the code blocks didn't match exactly and I was planning to have to revert to my last backup, but it seems to have worked fine.
