How to get item description to display in articles?

I'm using K2 2.2 and would like to display photo captions or descriptions in the photos in the body of my articles.  How do you do this, if i use the item description it doesn't show up when you open the article and I've verified that display item description is enabled in the back end.  This is my site www.yakangler.com

huh what do you mean? this issue is with descriptions being displayed on K2 articles not with a forum
