Datatype of INTROTEXT and FULLTEXT was created by Martijn Maandag
I was using the import function to transfer the content of a Joomla-site to K2.When I was looking to the result I noticed that there was content missing. Big Articles are missing the last part. After a long search I found out that it is because of datatype of the INTROTEXT and FULLTEXT fields in _K2_ITEMS.In Joomla these fields are MEDIUMTEXT, in K2 they are only TEXT.So people with big articles are losing content on conversion and other can't make big articles in K2.I changed the size of the fields in _K2_ITEMS and then the articles are imported correct.

Can this be fixed?

And IMO, it could be even longtext by default.
