Hello K2 Community..Anyone try to hack mod_k2_tools, or build new one to make an advanced search module that has fields to retrive info from different area like categories, items, extrafeilds, tags..etc.Example here.I am looking for this. Any suggestion?

yes, I executed the extra fields search with a search module by Andrey Miasoedov, community.getk2.org/profile/AndreyMiasoedov
The finder-extebsions works fine, too!

I am looking for a FRONT-END module a bit like this.

 

It should enable site-visitors to choose a category and then give them drow-down selections for tags and other extra fields.

 

I have been searching and waiting for such a module for over a year and find it strange that it still doesn't exist. Personally I think that a system like K2 is great for building complex sites, but it is useless if you don't enable site visitors to search your site in a categorised manner.

 

Has anyone found or created a module that does just that?
