Hi All,

I've used Article as Module for couple of my websites. Great Module, BUT.. it's not compatible with K2. With that Module, you can choose any article en show it in any position.

I belive there isn't any Module for K2 that does the same.

(The K2 content module does that for a category, but not only 1 article)

 

So maybe someone with sufficient Joomla/php/sql knowledge, can make a module for this or add features to the consisting K2 Content module?

I haven't had time to look into it. I was hoping someone with more programming knowlodge would take the time to make a nice module.
But in your case, maybe you can try this:
(if you haven't used the Featured option yet).
1. Make any item within the same category a Featured item.
2. Use K2 content Module, select your news category. Select "Show only Featured items" from the dropdown on 'Featured items'.
3. Assign the module to its place and your done.

Why hasnt this one been solved yet? I can see the question was asked even 3.5 years ago, the one about features does not work as expected
