Greetings and thanks for this great component. I'm trying to create a plugin and I'm having troubles with the file names.
I've played around with the youtube plugin that you provided and I've pretty much created what I wanted but when I change the file names to example.php and example.xml (and of course any relevant values in the code) the parameters input on the backend do not display. I've gazed at the code for hours and I can't imagine why that would happen.

Any ideas on the subject?

Have you also changed the plugin name in the jos_plugins table ?
