1. You have to change the register.php file in components/com_k2/templates/register.php and add the following lines in the table around line



2. Create an article with you terms , then create a menu link to ths article , click in front-end on menu link and copy the URL.

3. Paste the copied URL in the a href tag. Delete link in the menu

Hi folks!, the code of stephan it's ok to firefox but explorer 8 make register without validate the checkbox :-(

 

If I found the answer will post here

anyone ever accomplished this? I mean really checking in the backend if the checkbox has been selected?

An newer option is to Enable the User Profile Plug-in in Joomla which contains several basic fields for registration, one of which is Terms and Conditions. These options will show during k2 registration. Works nicely as tested. :woohoo:
