Are you using an SEF component? If so, try disabling it, clear your cache and then see what happens. I am not a programmer, but it it is a place to start.

I have K2 running on the same stuff here: allenfamily.ca without any problems.

yes, it's the problem.. i have disabled sh404sef and it works perfectly... but is it possible to fix it? coz i need sef url's too...

There is a K2 package with sh404sef preinstalled; there is a blog article about it in the "JoomlaSphere" button in the K2 admin section - perhaps a "quick and dirty" solution...

Oh goodness very sorry! Even had the thought when I posted that, but hurried on! Shows I don't know how JoomlaSphere works, just went there from the K2 control panel button; obviously it is dynamically pulling in content or somesuch. The item is no longer there, and I see no archives.

I did a google search on k2 & sh404sef; there is a plugin for it at joomportal.com/joomla-extensions/k2-plugin-for-sh404sef.html.
