Hi there,I am just learning K2 and I noticed you can do every thing you could do with traditional Joomla articles setup.

Any advice on when I have to use Joomla articles as oppose to K2?

Can K2 used entirely to design Joomla site in terms of content structuring and layout ( of course Joomla is the host for the K2)?

am I correct to assume these terminology are the same

K2           Joomla
Category      =     sections 
subcategory =     Category
Item            =    Article
Field           =     ?

There is no need to use Joomla Articles ever again.

K2Joom, is 100% produced in K2, no Joomla articles and there are plenty more out there.
Currently, Joomla has no tag ability other than through a separate extension.
