I have been noticing an issue emerge with the K2 content module. For some reason, it is generating a URL with reference to the Event List component, as seen in the URL below. http://www. MYSITE .com/index.php/component/option,com_eventlist/Itemid,67/id,1/lang,en/blogs/item/87-the-name-of-my-blog-postIn order to access the actual URL to the blog post, I must go to the K2 component. It has been well over a year that I had the Event List Component installed but have long since removed the component. The database reference no longer exists. K2 was installed long after the Event List Component's uninstall, sometime in September 2009.Would this be considered a bug with K2 or with default Joomla SEF? Where might I begin to solve this riddle?Thanks.SOFTWARE VERSIONS

I think that you may have to consider using mod_rewrite to remove that and still maintain the link.
If you dont have any experience with mod_rewrite then take a look at stackoverflow.com/
