I am currently developing a component that uploads data from Excel, OpenOffice and CSV into K2 Items. Is it alright if I use the K2 menu icon for my component submenu?

Provided its not being used in a profit making, commecial sense, it should be ok.
Ir would be good if you posted back and shared the component, either here or on JED.

I'm afraid it is so I'll just have to make one myself! The component is in Beta testing at the moment and is not available, however, when it is I will post back the details.
