Users see a link for 'Add a new item in this category' in all category views, even though only authorized for one of the categories.When clicked, the item editor only allows user to publish in their authorized category, but still... the links in other categories are incorrect and unnerving to users with security concerns.

Absolutely - I wish we had a fix for this.
