Do you have Joomla SEF and mod_rewrite enabled?
Have you renamed the htaccess.txt to .htaccess in your Joomla root folder?

Hello Simon

You would need to add a rule in the .htaccess to remove this.
Its not my area of expertise but there are plenty of resources on the internet thank can help.

imo it isn't possible with Core Sef you will have to install a 3DP component for SEF URLs to do so.

OK I have Advance SEF as well as sef404 and it is not clear on how to remove this article ID's. Surely it is a function of K2?

Actually I have a similar issue when it comes to the URL for the users profile. There as well I have something similar which shows the SEF'd URL as including the users UID.... Very nasty... How to remove?

www.domain.com/home/itemlist/user/62-usersname/

I really really don't want all these useless directories www.domain.com/username It's enough.

Any ideas please?

Cheers

i tried already quite a few settings. the links domain-category-item are pretty long and ugly!
