All items have dissapeared... was created by Bob Glaser

All of our "items" in k2 are gone... categories are still there... on the site any items now show "404 - item not found" and help would be appreciated!

I was changing an item... it did not save and received a red screen... the original item was still there without my changes.

what do you mean with red screen ?
are the items still in backend ?
404 means that the file cant be found.
with teh error message I cant help you, sry.
try to disable the item you would modify the last.

someone else an idea ?

I had to restore the database. All of the items were missing in the back end. Whatever change I tried obviously screwed up the database. Thanks for your (attempted) help.

Same thing has happened to me. I have never seen this before. I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary or anything complicated, just the basics and bang!! its all gone.

If this were a clients project I would be very upset, not sure I am ready to bring K2 to anyone yet.
