Using extra fields in item/article was created by knut
Is there anyone who knows if it is possible to use the value from my one
of my extra fields inside my item? Something as Token in drupal. Lets
say I have an article about a city and in one of the extra fields have I
written a nickname for the city, is it possible somehow to put
something like:bla bla bla bla bla [shortname] bla bla bla bla. and
then k2/joomla fills in the value from shortname into the space? And
is there any good automatic maps to use with k2? preferably maps that
geocode the postition from my extra fields? Thanks a lot for
any replies:)

One map extension can be found at

First i would get it installed and running with sig pro and all video plugins. Use the Commercial sig pro to avoid many problems with setup.

and try to see if you can get a simple template working on your site...
All videos www.joomlaworks.gr/content/view/16/42/
Sig Pro www.joomlaworks.gr/content/view/17/42/
Then, when you get the override working and the item view set up like you want...Edit the item.php in the override directory of your template and you can eaisly add the code there. It wont be wiped out if you need to reinstall or upgrade at some point.

How do you get the latitude and longitude values for each K2 item?
