Working on www.040uit.nl

Using template Rockettheme Versatiliy 4.

 

It came to my attention that, when displaying an image gallery, it is not possible to save a comment.

 

In IE8 I see following Error on Page, on screen bottom left:

 

Object doesn't support this property or methodmootools.js line 13mootools.js line 59roksameheight.js line 11

and also:

k2.js line 15   Code:0 Char:7   URI: www.040uit.nl/components/com_k2/js/k2.js

 

Using reCaptcha or not, does not make any difference.

 

In Firefox 3.6.3 I see these arrow going around and around and around....

Page is not being refreshed, but after refreshing manually I see the comment has been added.

 

In administrator pages I see no Simple Image Gallery thumbnails, after uploading a ZIP with photo's.

Maybe this error is related to the error of not saving comments?

Are you using SIG Pro?
Since this may be a template issue please try a default template and see if you get the same result.

Thank you for your fast reply.
I am using SIG free, not the PRO version.
Do you recommend the PRO version?
I will install the default Joomla, then the K2 with SIG free and try again.

I recomend using SIG Pro.
Just search this forum and you will see why.
I meant only switch the template you are using and see if you get the same error from Beezs or something like that

Thank you for your answer.
I have installed SIG Pro in the live website with the Rockettheme template and I think that this was the solution.
Please feel free to go to www.040uit.nl and in the main menu choose VOORBEELD (Example) and leave a message at the bottom.
Loading the pages was very slow for a while, probably the reCaptcha part was slow. Please let me know if you see the reCaptcha load fast enough...

if you are using sig free, see above Edze changed to sig pro and got it working ok

Search here for sig and you will see its best to use sig pro, although some have made free version work, i have not

what is (SIG)???

I had this issue only with some images and not others. I worked out there must have been something wrong in the file name extension or file structure of the images. I re saved each jpeg using photoshop and it fixed the issue.
