Hey,
I'm working on a site, got the content and menus etc in, and trying to populate the module positions.

First thing was to add the K2  Content module to show a list of articles in one of my categories... low and behold a REAL white screen of death. No errors, nothing, just white.

I'm using the free theme from Rocket Themes : rt_afterburner_j15

Any ideas?

Try going to Global Configuration - Server Tab - and setting Error Reporting to Max
You may get an error that will point you in the right direction

No luck though I'm afraid. I've switched the error reporting setting (which is new to me!) up to maximum with no change. Still white screen - 0 bytes returned.

Just to check, I switched from the rt_afterburner_j15 to the milkway default template and the same thing is happening (just to make sure that it's not directly template related)

Strange that it works on the homepage and not on the content pages, that's the only 'clue' that I have :(

any more ideas for me to try?

Also, do you think it could be something to do with the new version of Joomla? 1.5.8?

Do you two use Advanced Module Manager plugin ?

Hey, wow that was a long time ago... but...

 

I think it was the extra field plugin (not the joomlaWorks one) for k2 that was causing the problem...
