Hi 
I am having a problem when creating a new K2 category on my site. Every time i click on the SAVE BUTTON i just get a completely white BLANK page, no errors no messages, and the new category is not created in the database and can't be seen on the k2 categories tab. 

Why is this happening? Thank you so much

Check your Joomla Global settings on the Server Tab and be sure Error Reporting is set to Maximum
and see if it will tell you what the error is.
Did it work before? If not reinstall, if yes, what is different now?
Have you installed a plugin recently? is so, disable it and try again

Thank you. With the errors set to maximun i just get this error now:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /.../administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2category.php on line 49

Maybe do you know what is this about? Thank you again

Have your server host turn this on!
search this forum for mb_internal_encoding

YOu can verify this with phpmyadmin
it should say MySQL charset: UTF-8 when you look at the database

About mb_internal_encoding can you please help me?

I dont know where can i set this up? I am not a server expert, my host uses a common Cpanel Interface, where can I turn on mb_internal_encoding?
