Hi Simon,
Is it possible to allow users to navigate through a K2 product catalogue website, via different methods; e.g. View by Range, View by Name, View by Room (for a furniture company for example!!).

To help make this clearer, an example structure would be:
Range > Oak > Bedroom > Carolina (a type of Pine) > Bedside Product (the item).

So the above example would be a typical process for a user beginning by 'View by Range'. 'View by Room' would be similar, however the process of arriving at the product takes a different route. For example:
Bedroom > Oak > Carolina > Bedside Product.

I understand with K2 I can easily achieve 1 of the above scenarios and begin implementing it immediately. However, is it possible to have both scenarios present on the same site, linking finally to the same items??? What confuses me is that I could create 'Range' as a Category, then 'Room' as a sub category of 'Range' for the first scenario.. although I would need 'Room' to be the parent category for my 2nd scenario?

Is there a way using K2 that I could configure this?

Would really appreciate any help. Thanks for looking!

Hi Derek,

You could use tags to achieve this...

Just keep a simple category structure and add tags to your items. A click on an item would display all items with this specific tag.
