Hi,
I have mulirple categories of articles and i have a category called blog. I would like the users to be able to add / edit articles in the blog category from the front end. Could you kindly tell me how to do this as i am unable to see any button called add article anywhere in the front end.

Hi Prashanth,

To see the 'add a new item' button, you have to be connected on front end with a user who can add/edit items.

Create a K2 group with 'add/edit' rights.
Create a Joomla User
Create a K2 user based on the Joomla user and affect him to the k2 group just created.

Login in frontend with the Joomla user and it should work.

Don't hesitate to report troubles.

I have an user of joomla a k2 with the add itmes privilege but when I login with the user, I cann't add a item??? Why???

תוכלו לראות אך ורק לאחר שהתחברתם עם סיסמתכם למערכת. אין טעם לחפש את הכפתור לפני שעשיתם log in.

השלבים הם קודם כל יצירת קבוצת K2

אח"כ יצירת משתמש ג'ומלה ורק בסוף יצירת משתמש K2

אני מקווה שהפעם זה יותר ברור...
