Just wanted to share this with you. I am using Eventlist for adding events because K2 had lack functions to handle this for my website.

 

Problem I discovered when using Evenlist I couldn't use the K2 tools menu module because Eventlist isn't part of K2 (duh).

I now found a solution for this here:

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension-specific/eventlist-extensions/8394

 

With this plugin you can put any (ore more) category, location, single event in a K2 content item.

This way you have eventlist integrated with K2.
