No more images after moving the site was created by Gabriele Bigatti
Hi, I've moved my site from a test folder to the root. everything works but I've lost all images in the items... it's a problem due to the cache folder in media/k2/items/cacheis there a way to rebuilt the cache folder?or is there a way to move one site without losing image?

Evidently you did not copy the media/k2/items/cache folder with its files. If you still have it copy the files to the new location.
Did the src directory come thru?
If so there is a hack to get the images rebuilt

thanks for your reply.
the problem is that I can't open that folder (cache) via FTP. I tried in every way but nothing, I can't open it.
I've sent a ticket to my host provider
thank you

do you have cpanel or root access
if cpanel use file manager to get to the files in the directory

Hi, this is my host provider's reply:
'Dear user, about your ticket, we wish to inform you that the access problem to the requested folder depends on the number of the files located into it (4239 files). When you reach this limit you could have some problems via FTP (like your situation), bad performances surfing the website and you could risk to destroy the server system file. So, we strongly suggest not to put other files in that folder, on the other hand to modify the management of your website in order to avoid the problem'.

Considering that every time I insert the main image into a K2 article, that image is replicated in different dimensions, could you please suggest how to fix this problem? How can i manage this unbearable situation? Sorry about the silly question but i'm new for K2 and i really don't know how to do that. Now, my host provider has said they will send me a .zip file containing all the required files and they will provide to cancel that folder... but after that? Whenever i have all my files in the new folder how can avoid to have a folder heavier than normal day by day? Thanks in advance for your support!
