Categories linking wonky ? was created by Daniel J Whelan II
I have an issue that I honestly don't even know how to describe. I have a few categories that are link to the wrong place and I can't figure out why.
Bear with me here and have a look.
Here's the site, it's in development.
174.120.106.186/~vicdean
The issue I'm having is in the Gym/Staff category. Here.
Okay, notice there are four child categories, these are the third category deep.
- Gym
- - Staff
- - - Paul Klatman
- - - Sally Allgaier
- - - Stacey Nazitto
- - - Victor Dean
There are a couple of items in each of those categories.
Click on a category link for Victor Dean. Image, title, or view items... doesn't matter.
Notice the Breadcrumbs...
You are here: Gym >> Staff >> Victor Dean
That's what it's supposed to be, there's no problem here.
Now, click on any of the other three staff members category links, again image, title, or view items... doesn't matter.
Now check out the breadcrumbs.
You are here: Community >> Blog >> Victor's Blog >> Paul Klatman
I don't get it. That's supposed to be in the same category as Victor's, but instead, it's under Victor's blog... Victor's blog is a link to his user blog... it's not even a category, it's a main menu link under the Blog category
If you use the links in the Gym Menu, or the right, each persons staff bio displays in the correct place, but if you use the category links it doesn't, well only Victor's does.
If I unpublish the user blog links in the main menu, everything works fine.
The only user blog with any content is the Victor's blog, it has two articles published. The others are empty at this time.
I've tried about everything I can think of, changed the names, deleted and remade links and categories.
I'm out of ideas.
Thanks
Dan

It's the main menu links to the user pages.
If I simply turn off the links, everything work as it's supposed to.
Here's the main menu link structure for the parent category.
- Community - K2 » Itemlist / Category
- - Blog - K2 » Itemlist / Category
- - - Victor Dean - K2 » Itemlist / User
- - - Paul Klatman - K2 » Itemlist / User
- - - Sally Allgaier - K2 » Itemlist / User
- - - Stacey Nazitto - K2 » Itemlist / User
Have these links turned on causes the problem. If they're turned off, no problem... no links to user blogs, unless you click a users name, which works and I don't hate it... but I would like to have the links in my menu system... and in the site map.
So... it's the item links.
Any ideas?
