After many failed attempts to get the plugin to recognize a custom css file for a custom template, i looked at my "error log" on the server and found out that the template is looking for a file with the name structure of "customtemplatename_style.css" that must reside in the "templates/templatename/html/com_k2/templates/customtemplatename" directory...
After renaming the k2.css file that was placed there by me to the proper name configuration, everything works for the unique css configuration as expected...

Is there some documentation that may enlighten me further on the useage of this great plugin?

i have seen that pdf but it doesn't make any sense to me...I was confused regarding the installation of the css file, and the naming of the file, but through trial and error finally figured this out...thanks for your response...
