K2 users vs Joomla users and Contacts was created by Thomas Johannessen
I have found the K2 users neat and interesting, bco the module show random user. but in Joomla you can link by menu item, to Contacts, and list Contacts by categories.is there a way to create a menu-item to list K2 users in categories, same as described for the joomla categories ?That would help me alot... to use K2 users as a contact library e.g. employee list etc. brgds Thomas http://etc...

Thomas,
K2 users have an associated group. So if you setup groups, you can filter by that using the k2 user mod. You could then associate each module with a menu item. A bit tedious to setup but if you have a manageable number of groups it would work.

Thanks dude. yes I can look at that, how to list all, I might have to publish a module in an article, right? I try it out today.
Any other simple ways or tips are welcome.
(I found the K2mart bridge to "play" with (work) for a shop too. )

I was actually thinking of just using the {loadposition modulename} technique. You have to make regular joomla articles for each one, but definately works.
The technique is explained really well here:

I did. but inside a K2 item. that works.
removing the numbers to dispay list all in the Cat.
But the strange thing is that when I search, the names doesnt come up.. users is not listed in my K2 search. only the Category.
I have problems with my K2 users maybe. I have installed the extended user info/field plug, but it doesnt work (yet)
