mod_k2_content displays unpublished items

mod_k2_content displays unpublished items was created by Mats Arvendal
The mod_k2_content still displays items (articles) although they are unpublished. K2 is version 2.2 on Joomla 1.5.18.

 

Any suggestion how to stop this behaviour?

Probably. I had to deal with it urgently and moved the K2 item to another category. Now I am unable to reproduce the error.
