I have set this subcategory to show only in one column

how come the subcategory doesn't run the whole length of the page?


While I set this example into three columns of subcategory and its works perfectly

web2.irri.org/our-partners/networks/irrigated-rice-research-consortium

basically my question is how do i style my subcategory so that when i set it to one column it stretches the length of the page without affecting the other pages?
