I have just transfert my joomla site with the following specs :

 

PHP exécuté sur:  Windows NT CAP-D04 5.2 build 3790 (Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition Service Pack 2) i586  Version de la base de données:  5.1.50-community  Collation de la base de données (dépend du jeu de caractères):  utf8_general_ci  Version de PHP:  5.3.3  Serveur Web:  Apache/2.2.16 (Win32) PHP/5.3.3  Du serveur Web à l'interface PHP:  apache2handler  Version de Joomla!:  Joomla! 1.5.20 Stable [ senu takaa ] 18-July-2010 18:00 GMT  Navigateur:  Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; InfoPath.3) 

I am not able to create a items ot edit one. Each time I tried to save I get a white page...

 

The following was my previous server specs:

Is the version of the PHP could do the difference?

My Provider even changed from 5.2 to 5.3.3. this made no Probs.

If your getting a white page, turn the error reporting to highest and see if you can get it to tell you what error is causing it
joomla - global settings - server tab - error reporting

As i do not have any skills in PHP is someone can help me on what is the meaning of this error messahe^

You have to install the mbstring extension for php on your server.

It was it. I just have to take away the ";" behind the mbstring.dll within the php.ini file and everything is working perfectly!
