Import Joomla content to K2 v2.4.1 was created by Ike Leus
Here's the odd thing:
I just installed K2 v2.4.1 on Fasthosts.co.uk hosting to do some live testing. Before this i've always used the v2.3 release of K2.
The issue: When trying to import articles from Joomla's content (probably around 1000 articles) i'm stuck that the import function in K2 just gives me a blank page in Firefox, and Internet explorer gives me a page error when pressing that button.
It's only in the v2.4.1 i'm getting this, the 2.3 runs this action without problems. (the thing is, that the v2.3 import was tested on a different hosting server, so i'm asking if this could be related to the issue).
Of course I can solve this if i do a clean joomla install on my wamp server and see if the v2.4.1 does import it's content from a local phpmyadmin. But it would save some time if I could convert the database articles directly on the fasthosts.co.uk phpmyadmin/server.
Cheers,
Ike

you could also, back up the old server with akeeba and then kickstart the new server, and update k2

Hi. Obviously it has to do with the new hosting environment. A blank page indicates a PHP error. Please turn on error reporting so we can have a clue. For most cases you just need to raise your PHP memory limit.

Anybody advice on this one: www.iketennis.com/v2/
This is a testversion (migration to K2) the template is faily how it's supposed to be. But this is just the frontpage.. all content in there is converted from joomla on localhost (Wamp). It displays it, but when you click a title or use a link from the menu, I get a blank page.
The same happens in the backend, when I try to add an article I can enter everything, but when I click save it's a blank page. I tried turning the SEF options in joomla off (only mod apache rewrite is still on). Anybody who experienced similar issues? Many thanks in adv.
