For anybody else running into this:

Go to "Edit Category" - in the "Category view options", "Hide" the Image

Did this change int he latest version? I have disabled ALL images in every field and it simply will not go away!

Thanks Fred, Soooooo many choices and sooooo little time to learn them all but the more I work with this tool the more I like it (even with the things that don't work...;)

Just to clarify, It's in your menu item's options IF you have more than one category selected in your K2 Category Menu Item (and all the category options in your menu item have now become active).  

If you only select one category, then the menu item options will be grayed out and you'll then have to do it on the category not on the menu item.
