Okay, I am humbly asking for help.  I have looked everywhere and haven't found anyone else with this situation, so apparently I am the only noob that is too dumb to figure this out.  So, I am building my new site, everything is going along beautifully, really digging the K2 and adding some content.  I go to edit one of my items from the backend (I am the only one publishing on my site, so editing from the frontend wasn't really a necessity) and it won't allow me to Save, Save & New, Apply or Cancel.  In fact, the only thing I can do is just back out.  I tried setting it up to edit in the front-end, it gives me access (minus my editor which is JCE, btw) but the tabs don't work on it either.  I can edit my categories fine, and the pages show up fine on my site, I just can't edit the items.  Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?BTW, today is my birthday, and a happy functioning site is all I want for my birthday.  (Yes, I am getting old and my expectations bar has fallen very low over the years.)  So please cut an aging old lady some slack and help her out.  I promise to return the favor by helping someone else when I know the answer to their problem.  Thanks! ~Timber Oh, and the site is timbershelton.com if that helps.

Apparently now I can't ADD items either!?? It was working fine before! What have I done? Please help me, because I was really enjoying using K2, but if I can't solve this problem I will have to uninstall it.

If anyone is interested or has had this same problem, I thought I would let you know that after 3 days of trying to figure this out I fixed it by simply enabling the system-SC jQuery plugin. Hope this helps save some other newbie 3 days of frustration.

Are you on a Mac?

I'm having the same problem on the front-end. I see the editing lightbox but the "save" and "cancel" buttons don't work with either firefox and safari.

This is a serious bug.

Nope, not on a Mac. I don't think it is a browser issue either, I always use both Firefox and IE. The only advise I can offer is to start testing plugins, one at a time. That is how I finally got mine to work. Good luck!

If you have SIG Pro installed check that it isn't loading in jQuery library, but in mootools.
As @Timber said above check all plugins that use javascript in case of a conflict.

I actually found out that on the Save and Cancel buttons there's a very slim stripe at the top of the icon which is active and works as the rest of the button should.

Maybe it's some hight to be set in some css rather than a jquery/mootools conflict?

Maybe something is messing with the CSS. A conflict of some kind. Check that out.
