Prevent public registration in K2 login module was created by Andrew Neighbour
I want to use the K2 login module to allow predesignated users (store staff) to be able to login in so they can edit items via the frontend.  The K2 login module has a "create an account" option that allows anyone the ability to sign up as a user.  Obviously, I only want a few designated people to be able to mess with store items. How would I suppress this option - I know how with the regular joomla login module, but can't find the equivalent settings for the K2 login module. Thanks,Andrew

Go to:
Global Configuration
System
Allow User Registration - set to no

that worked for me.

Yep that worked - I hadn't realized that the global site setting would carry over to K2, but clearly it does.
Thanks,
Andrew
