Im experienced with joomla, but quit new with k2.

I have looked in the category settings to disable the componentheading above a category.

 

Probably i misssed a setting but i would be very pleased if someone can tell

me how to do this.

If you mean the heading brought from Joomla it is in the Options of Menu item.

In "Menus" from the main Jooomla navigation.

 

Pick the Menu then the page that you want to change.

(Example: Main menu > About)

 

On the right hand side Under Parameters (System),

check NO for Show the page title.

 

That should be it.
