Hello I'm stunned to discover that it doesn't appear to be possible to create an item as ADMIN then assign that item as another author.Please tell me I'm wrong and I'm just missing something.

Creating a kinda "Job Listing" site and the site owners want to be able to create inititial listings for clients prior to the launch of the site.

I know I can probably do this via a MYSQL query, but seriously... surely I'm not the first person to be confronted with this?

Is there a solution?

It seems that to get a user to show up in the block under author and publishing status in the backend from K2 Edit Item screen you will have to elevate the joomla user to author.
