HiI'am using K2 ver. 2.3 (and testing 2.4.1). K2 login form is enable, and parameters set to use k2 login and assign XXX usergroup to each new entry.I went through the forum and many others seems to have the same issue: K2 doesn't register automatically a new user in K2 users (although i can see them in the K2 user list , but they are not registered in K2 -- not box before the item ). The default group has also not been applied.Any suggestion ? All the solution/suggestion I have seen in the forum didn't work.Thanks for your ideasPhilippe  

Just tested with K2 v2.4 SVN and it works correctly.
If you have disabled default Joomla Login
Enabled k2 login module
Set up user groups
and in the parameters of k2 set it to Registered. it should work
While testing i had new user authentication disabled in Joomla Global settings and i do not have any other community builder type extensions added in this site, so there could be an issue there. Turn it off for testing, also turn error reporting on highest, to try to eliminate the problem.

I made a test with J! 1.5.15 - no other components - and it works fine
I made another with J! 1.5.20 - no other components - and it doesn't work...
My final project uses J! 1.5.20 - with other components, but no community builder...

Hmmm i got it, i selected another template in 1.5.20 and it works! How does a template affect K2 preventing the complete registering process ?
