Hi I have installed and set up K2 with no probs and set up users with the relevant access rights to add and edit items, however the tabs are no functioning when i edit items or add them...the tabs show but nothing else works.  If i click the tab or e.g. add attachment it just loads the site...how can i fix this.  See the attached image for what's happening.  You'll see now wysiwyg editor.

It works in the backend and you can add content etc but it's when adding the content front end you can see from the pic the editor doesn't show :( The tabs are showing just nothing else :( Got any ideas?

All the links to the editor window are pointing to index.php
it should show something like index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&task=add&tmpl=component#
If you have sef enabled turn it off and give it a try. I cannot see the backend of your site.

Hi I switched the SEF404 on and off and when it was off, instead of when clicking the content tab which shows nothing happened and it didnt load the site like you no doubt saw. The wysiwyg editor did not load wither with it off or on....is this usual? Ive searched the forums etc but most of them say the tabs didnt show at all yet this one it's like the JCE component isn't loading, yet if I login backend it works fine, but we need people submitting content front end.

Any ideas? Olly

I got the same Problem with Joomla! 1.5.22 Stable and the jsn_epic Template.

The Upper Buttons and Title Fields are there, but not the content field.

Maybe it's an JavaScript conflict, please Help

its not an template specific Problem, i changed to standart templates and the editor doenst work 4 me.

Also the JSN Image Show module is not th reason.

the other components ive installed are Communitybuilder and jevents and i dont think that these are conflicting with k2

I don't want to change alle my template files in a running system.

That couldn't be the right way to make it work, there must be another way. Maybe the Team can help us

I located the problem, its not the JSN_EPIC Template, but the jsn image show component.

I deactivated the Plugin "System - JSN ImageShow". The image is stil working, but now i have at the buttom with something like "you have to install flashplayer"

The editor is now working, but i want to remove the flashplayer message

 

Edit: only deactivated the plgun information radio button in jsn image gallery konfiguration

 

everything runs now perfectly

I've got to try that - will let you know if it works for me :)

Thank you - now to get back to JSN and see if they can fix their slide show
