I have set up a store and product catalog using K2.  The client wants to
sell her items on-line.  So I set up K2 Mart and Virtuemart to support
the purchasing process.

Now the client has indicated that she doesn't want to process payment
electronically.  Instead, her business model is to have the customer
select an item (a custom handmade boot), define size etc, submit an
order request with credit card info.  Once received by the store
personnel, they will determine if the item is available and when, then
communicate with the customer, then enter the credit card info manually
into their store cred card processing terminal.

So VM is most likely overkill.  Can anyone recommend a way to, in effect,
process a purchase request, supply the necessary payment info, size etc,
and have it linked to each item.

Is there, for example, a way to contact the author of an item and use a predefined order form?
