Getting an Error when trying to add a new category

Getting an Error when trying to add a new category was created by Brad Bookser
I get the following error when I try to add new categories.Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_regex_encoding() in /home/calledev/public_html/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2category.php on line 50Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your k2 - imformation screen
see if Multibyte string support is Enabled
if not, get your host to turn it on

If this worked before and is now failing I would Back Up the Site! then reinstall K2 and test. If you have made changes to the core k2 files, the changes will be lost.
