It gives the avatar which links through to profiles, so therfore the anonimity is lost (forive spelling pls)any ideas pleasehave enclosed a picture of the comments module, and i think the relevant K2 comments shot

I think there is a setting in k2 params that will turn the avitar off.
I remember this as an issue in an earlier version of Simons site K2Joom.com and he fixed it quickley. I think there is code that prints the user name or the user login name which is preferable to what you want i think. Have to look at the code later.
