I have found a fix for the k2 sh404sef issue. Many people have said that the paging link goes to the same page or is always pointing to page 1. Navigate to your template directory i.e. templates/mysite/html/pagination.php and literally add the limit to the pagination links in the  pagination_item_active function. Go to sh404sef and purge your urls and you should be good to go.
