It´s in the menu manager. Show the Page Title->NO, and write under Page Title what you want.
Not exactly what you want. This is important for Google, so you can be punished if there are words Google cannot find under that menu link.

Try to play with Aliases in Item. Don´t have K2 now to test it.
It is taken from Item Title despite.
Or try to configure SEF extension to take Aliases for that.
There is JCE K2 advanced link plugin, free, for JCE editor. Search forum and you will find it. (for linking)

Hi.
Regarding your alias problem. It sounds like you are running into a known bug in K2 2.4.1 where the aliases are actually disregarded and are created from the title tag no matter what the item alias is set to. It's been fixed in the SVN. Take a look at this thread and see if this solves some of your issues:

Your welcome.
> "It would be great to know when the next version of K2 will be released, however..."
I guess when it's ready ;-)
In a recent blog post, Fotis said this:
" We will proceed and launch v2.5 of K2 for Joomla! 1.5 only within February 2011. New features and especially performance improvements of up to 500% make this release a very important one to existing websites, especially the most high traffic ones..."
